How do I hook my Wii up to my new Samsung Smart TV that has no RCA ports

But I don't understand where this adapter would plug in to my Wii (it is the original Wii).... Wouldn't an HDMI to RCA cablevision work? The simply plugs I see are RCA and an USB?

The cable with the RCA connectors disconnects on the back of the Wii. You then plug the adapter into this port. Then, you connect an HDMI cable to the adapter and to the HDMI input on the TV.

I bought one of these adapters and it didnt work at all. I have no scart socket in my new tv or av ports.

It depends on the television you have. Some Samsungs use only hdmi but use a connection that looks like 3.5mm to rca. Merely normally that comes with the television set. What model exercise yous accept?

I but tried the wiihdmi adapter and when I inverse the Wii setting to edtv 480p my Samsung KS8000 tells me resolution not supported....any ideas?
